Apprenticeships

Connetics has a number of apprenticeship opportunities available annually. We run the following apprenticeships:

• Electrician/Electrical Fitter
• Line Mechanics
• Cable Jointers

The selection of new apprentices is carried out at different times of the year. Preference is given to people who have completed an ESITO pre-trade course at a Polytechnic and existing employees seeking career development

Apprenticeships vary in length from two to four years. All apprentices enter into a training agreement. We encourage them to remain employed with us following the completion of their apprenticeship to build their skills and knowledge.

Connetics has many opportunities for employment following the completion of an apprenticeship and discusses career options with apprentices throughout their initial training.

Training and Development

We take training and development seriously. We want to retain you, but we also want you to grow.

Induction

All new employees are taken through a comprehensive induction designed to provide them with a good understanding of their job, and Connetics’ operations and culture.
