Underground

We have the personnel and equipment to install underground plant in almost any location, from the urban environment to the most remote mountain area. We offer the turn-key approach - the installation of services ducting, power, telecommunications, gas and other services, all at the same time. As well as traditional open cut methods, Connetics can provide a range of trench-less solutions.

Cable Hauling and Insertion

Connetics has specialist plant and expertise to move a wide range of cable types, from high-capacity power cables to light-weight telecommunications cables. Methods range from winching, using load limiting devices, to blowing and suction methods for fibre cables.

Air Excavation System

This equipment is capable of non destructive excavation in most situations. We provide a location service as shown in the video below. The system also works well for larger excavations around multiple services and is environmentally friendly around trees and shrubs as it will not damage roots. Please take the time to look at our video of our system in action and do not hesitate to call us for a free quote.

Cable Joint and Termination

We're frequently involved in the development of innovative jointing techniques for special or new projects. Connetics jointing techniques extend beyond standard XLPE and paper insulated lead, aluminium and plastic-sheathed distribution cables to high-voltage flexible rubber mining cables, oil-filled cables up to 66kV and telecommunication cables.

Civil Works

This is a key speciality. We can provide open-cut trenching in a wide range of ground conditions and we have the expertise to work in congested areas. Capabilities include installing underground vaults, pedestals, and specialist jointing and cable-hauling chambers.

Pipe and Duct Installation

We can install a wide range, from large rigid ducts to chambers and micro ducts.

Earthing Systems

We have an expert team working exclusively on installation, maintenance and testing of earthing systems. This team has developed a specialised truck-mounted rig for driving earth rods up to 30 metres deep.
