On Wednesday 28th September, representatives from Connetics attended another inspiring GirlBoss New Zealand Awards, which saw over 450 young wāhine from across New Zealand celebrated and recognised.
The awards are an inspirational evening dedicated to celebrating young women defying stereotypes and leading change in their communities. The Orion Group proudly sponsor the STEM award category, which celebrates young women who are passionate about Science, Technology, Engineering & Maths and their use for making our world a better place.
Connetics Graduate Design Engineer, Emma Lloyd judged the STEM category on behalf of the Group.This year's STEM award winner was Georgia Cruse (17) for her selfless work and passion for technology and architecture. Georgia is from the small town of Shannon and has been using her architectural skills to benefit her community.
